About Western Poles

Western Poles Company has one of the longest histories in poles construction and manufacture of any Australian Company.

The connection between the Ridolfo Group and power poles stretches back to 1957, when founder Vince Ridolfo was contracted to locate, harvest, prepare and transport suitable timber for what was then the State Energy Commission of WA. In the early years only untreated jarrah, harvested from sites throughout WA’s Southwest, was used to supply the long, straight timber required.

As a member of the Ridolfo Group, Western Poles Company today continues the work commenced by Vince all those years ago in supplying pole products to Australian customers. Operating from depots in Picton, Keysbrook and Dwellingup, Western Poles has developed and sourced innovative products to meet the changing needs of our customers. The Western Poles Company prides itself on delivering a total service to meet the needs of our customers. Our experienced staff will discuss your requirements and then manage the selection and processing of the pole. We will also coordinate the loading, transporting and delivery of the pole to its destination.
